We were sitting in the rain and shivering when a young lady was returning from the concession stand. Her name is Vergie Norris. We didn't know her, but my hubby asked if there was coffee in the concession stand. She replied "yes, I'll get you some." He told her it wasn't necessary, but she insisted. When she brought the coffee he told her to keep the change and she was almost insulted! What a credit she is to her parents and her community. Hubby has a bad spur on his foot right now that is very painful and makes it hard for him to walk, but she did not know this. I caught up with her later to learn her name so we could sing her praises. It renews our faith in the young people of today. Thanks, Vergie, and may God bless you. If anyone knows her family, please pass this message along to them.
