Not trying to hurt anyone's feelings..but what is wrong with our kicking game? I think we have like 3 missed xp's tonight..and this seems to be a recurring them throughout this season. Would hate to lose a game because our kicking game misses xp's which should be gimme's. Outside of that, looks like the Defense is playing a great game. Having issues watching the game as I'm out of the country for work sadly.

Our normal extra point holder is Bost, who got hurt early in the game. So we had a backup holder in the game that had never done it. The problems were not with the kicks, but the holds!

It just seems like every week we miss or have blocked 1 or 2 extra points...so that points to blocking then if it's not the kicker.

On that last BH drive, the crowd was LOUD. You could feel Indian Nation rising up. When the DL/LBs converged on the QB and got the sack, the ball came loose, the crowd yelled ball, time was ticking down, and the band fired up Cherokee...it was LOUD. Great playoff atmosphere.

All that said, I like Stallworth better than Lamar...the parking at LU is horrible and Stallworth is closer to Houston (easier drive for me...I know, that is a selfish reason the locals will disagree with).

Anyway...great crowd last week. I expect the Indians to fill-up Stallworth. This team has an "it" factor that has the community excited. Hopefully, the Indians will heal-up and keep it rolling. We sure are banged up. Decimated by injuries. Next man up.

Go Indians. Peace.

Blocking is a issue on extra points , I think the kicker is number 12 Riggs , I think he's the slot receiver, the punter , the kicker , the returner on kick offs so he has a lot on his plate and now Austin Bost the holder is out . Games past is the blocking on extra points not very good , I heard Riggs is leading in district in extra points made for the season so hopefully we can get a holder and Block a little better because it good very well come down to the kicking game

+1 ... whoever the special teams coach is, he should be busy this week. Minus the kicker, snapper, and holder, find 8 kids who will commit to BLOCK. The swiss cheese line play will get us beat. To the special teams players, you are STARTERS on your designated special team, e.g., PAT, FG, punt, punt return, kickoff, and kick return. Commit to your job and go max out to protect the line of scrimmage. If we can't kick it, then line up and go for two.

Put some big defensive bodies on the line for PAT blocking if needed. There have been too many occasions where the defense bull rushes and knocks the guards or center on their rear. Or the ends block down and just let the outside rusher go untouched. These are fundamentals that can easily be corrected. Just put the lineman in there that can get it done. I don't remember a PN-G team ever struggling so much on kicking extra points.

Thats pretty sad. Hopefully Morse can bring some wins to Lamar next season. The crowds will come.
