7-7 Indians 1st and goal for PNG
I agree with everything except what's in bold. The play was rolling right. Receiver was rolling to the right side of the end zone. The Indian defender was several steps behind And wouldn't have effected that play, unless the Silsbee receiver bobbled the catch...IndianFan said:Both teams struggled with executing which is to be expected in the first game of the season. Silsbee has some SERIOUS SPEED in #4 and #22. Most encouraging outcome for PNG is that, with the exception of maybe 3 plays, Silsbee couldn't do much on offense. The Indian defense dialed it in and shut down Silsbee's speedy backfield after a couple of drives.
That interception before the half was destined to be an int or incomplete pass regardless. #6, Dakota Baxter was in perfect position to jump the ball if it had been thrown to the endzone.
Good luck to the Tigers on the remainder of the season!
