This game for a piece of the district championship. PN-G must come to play. Vidor is a very good ofensive team that plays very fundamentally sound football. Vidor's problem doesn't lay with the offense. Their defense has been the problem. Here is my take. Our defense is strong against the run and or offense should be able to prey on their shakey secondary.

They don't have the personnel to cover our WR's and Cropper is going to give them fits. They do play hard though, so it would be good if we had a nice lead by 3rd Qtr so we can pull the starters. This game doesn't do much in the way of helping us prep for Dayton except keeping the starters loose, but we can't risk any injuries.

Hope McZeal is back!

This would be a great game for our D to hone in on their tackling skills even more. Dayton has a huge O line and they run alot of the same O we do. I agree pull the starters early so we don't end up with major injuries.

This is essentially Vidors playoff game. Beating PNG would top off their otherwise disappointing season.

Indian players need to play hard early and not give them a chance.

Thought McZeal was out for the season?

He has been released by the Doctor. Don't know the plan for him moving forward. Against Vidor? Playoffs? Guess we will see Friday night if he's suited up.

With Giblin, McGough, Sullivan and Cropper, the Indians already have a full stable of good receivers to spread the ball around to. Whoever lines up needs to have sure hands, every down is beginning to count.

But if he is back, there is not a defense secondary that can match up with us..

Every possession, every play is going to be critical in the playoffs. Experienced, sure handed receivers are critical to have in the game.

I will be online this evening listening to the game and reading this message board. I hope others will be here too. The Pirates usually play the Indians tough...even the most dominant Indian teams have had good games with the Pirates especially when the game is played in Vidor. I hope the Indians jump on them quick. Vidor likes to control the ball and clock with their run game. I don't want the Indians to fall into a game where Vidor keeps it close and runs the clock out with the game being over by 8:30 p.m. Vidor will run it, run it some more, and run it some more...grinding out yards and burning the clock...start fast and jump on them early Indians.

Go Indians. Peace.

Agree. The longer Vidor is in the game the more dangerous they will be. Smash them early.

Great first drive and defensive stand to open the game. 73 yard PNG drive for a TD. 3 yards and a punt for Vidor on their first drive.

7-0 Indians.

Vidor's second drive is stuffed. PN-G returns the punt to their own 49. 2:37 left in the 1st quarter.

Another 10 yard run for Morse. He may crack 100 yards rushing tonight.

Just now logging on...WOW...way to go Indians. Jump on them early and get the starters out of the game. Sounds like the Indians are in a groove.

Go Indians. Peace.

How about those Indians! The offense is moving the ball up and down the field, unfortunately they had a turnover, but the defense gets rowdy and takes the ball back. Nice first half, Indians.

Halftime

Here's to the Indians pushing the lead to 35 points in the 3Q and the second and third team players can finish up the regular season as the Indians roll into the playoffs. We do not need any injuries in a meaningless second half.

Go Indians. Peace.
