Post Game Visits.....

Whoever started the post game visits at the end zone area on the field after each PNG game had a fantastic idea. Thank you...being an uncle to one of the starters on defense (I prefer to call it the "Purple Iron Curtain"), I wanted to share something with you all. I have coached for many years and do a lot of umpiring of high school baseball games and I have never seen faces like the faces of these young men after each game before like this. All of the players always have smiles on their faces, feeling great, sharing photo moments with family and friends and it's a good feeling to be part of this on Friday nights. These young men work hard, play hard, practice well, and execute to the coaches likings every play of the games. When I look around and take a quick glance at different people, I see a community that continues to grow the bond between each other and this kind of environment is exactly how we set the example across the board. The smiles, the hugs, the laughs and the high fives....they are indeed all Kodak moments. Let's continue to motivate all of them and congratulate them as they play for us fans. They get motivated from our cheers and applause. Please keep up the good work and never forget when you are in the stands.....shake a strangers and friends hand and tell them "Thank You" for helping support your.............Port Neches Groves Indians.......... Thank you all....

Another example of why PN-G is a special place to attend school. Port Neches and Groves are great communities and generations of teachers, coaches, administrators, students and families have spent years creating a legacy of Honor, Pride and Tradition. It is no coincidence that the core values of PN-GISD are Honor, Pride and Tradition. Those Friday night Kodak moments will stay with those families forever and become part of a fabric, which stirs alumni to return to The Reservation year and year and decade after decade. The traditions at PN-G are not gimmicks...they are real...ask any student or alumni member. You may move away, but you always come back. Once an Indian, Always an Indian. We are coming up on the 100 year anniversary of the first graduating class from Port Neches High School. This is not BISD or PAISD where schools consolidate and close. We are PN-G! Post some your pictures on this message board or the www.pngindians.com website. Indians all across the globe would enjoy seeing them.

Go Indians. Peace.

PN-G INDIANS FOOTBALL

I could not be more proud of our team and our community. The spirit here is unmatched! I am so lucky to be a part of it and to wear the purple and white! The journey of this football season, with these coaches and our players, will stay with me forever.  -- PN-G Head Coach Jeff Joseph
