There's No Place Like The Reservation Friday Night

Went to practice this morning. I saw a team already in midseason form. The areas of concern seem to be playing on a whole other level than expected. Recievers look as though they could be better than last seasons. The secondary was all over the place. Look for some great things from these guys. The people who are doubting the Indians may have a little surprise in store. If you can go out and watch a practice it was well worth it.

Most teams first practice involves getting some of the rust off, not at PNG. This looks like a continuation of spring drills.

Thanks for the info! Be careful what ya'll post here from video/pics or plays that are done. do not want the others to know all our secrets prior to the season!

As every day goes by, I believe it becomes apparent what a real professional we have in Brandon Fairclothe.

Remember his name like Phillips and Greg Davis who are at the level of coaching few can achieve. Greg Davis at UT and Bum Phillips in college and pros - well whats to say except thanks for allowing our boys experience such fine coaches.

We are lucky to have this guy for however long it lasts. Better enjoy it every Friday you can because we are going to talk about this guy 50 years from now - no joke.

GO NDNDS!!!!!

From what I've seen and heard, Coach Kroecker is almost a defensive genius. Coach Faircloth is a genius at motivating people and organization. All the coaches are good at what they do. We are blessed. I predict a state championship this year.

I went to practice on Tuesday morning and was very impressed. Doty is cold as ice. He dropped some passes in some tight spots, on the money and hit the receiver in stride. It is obvious that Doty and the receivers put in a lot of work this summer. Jalali,Nelson and Gizzi all looked great. They run great routes and catch everything. I saw one dropped pass from those 3 the whole practice. The O-line is big and get off the ball quick. They should be beastly this season with all 5 starters having started at least 2 games last season.Bertrand looks really quick and has gotten a lot stronger since last season...he also has that extra gear and quickness that we haven't had for years. (No offense to Harmon..he was a great one, but Bertrand can flat out fly.) I saw him in the spring and he also has great vision and runs hard.

On to the defense...It is hard to get a real measure of the defense until they put on the pads, but... The defensive line should be nothing short of dominant this year. With Easley and Thompson in the middle and DJ(freakin beast) and a young but battle tested Davis at the ends they will wreak havoc on opposing offenses. Ryan St Clair has moved to defense and should anchor the linebacking corps. From what I understand, the other LB spots are in a heated battle between Hammond, Bowie, Romero and Glorioso.(sp?) Not sure of the names of the DB's except for Hunter Knox, but there were several kids out there that were looking good.

I expect for us to build on last year and make a deep run in the playoffs. The big obstacle we will have is Brenham..they are loaded again. Get past them and you might want to book a room near Cowboys Stadium! I am beside myself with excitement for this season..8 days until Memorial and 16 days until GP in the Alamodome..I can't wait!
