Ok, I have to share this. As most of you know, this is spirit week at the High School, which means everday has a different "theme" leading up to Friday. Well, today was "retro" day and the kids were told to wear their "old school" PNG shirts...their term, not mine....LOL! Well, my daughter is a freshman this year and came home Monday and asked me if I happened to have a "old school" PNG shirt or something she could wear for this day, now I wasn't real proud that she was using that term either, but I digress. Anywho, so, I cracked open the cedar chest and found several shirts for her to choose from, along with my "old" letter jacket. The shirt was from the 89-90 team that went to the State Quarterfinals, and was in surprisingly good condition. So, we washed the shirt and cleaned up the jacket and she was so excited to wear that stuff, I couldn't believe it! Now, what parent wouldn't be "purple" with pride seeing their child walk out the door in their former Purple and White attire...well I know I was for sure, even if she called it "old school"...LOL
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
