Rain for Friday Night ?

:helmet: Well from what I have been seeing on the news, it looks like up to a 70% chance of rain for Friday night. This may play into our advantage. Livingston has a grass field, so running the ball may be a bit more difficult. The field could be sloppy and slippery. Reason I say to our advantage is because of the passing game. If our boys can hold onto a wet ball we could really cause some serious problems for Livingston. As far as running the ball it may be difficult for running backs to make some jukes and moves without slipping or loosing their footing. Also the potential for fumbles do to a wet ball as well.

I agree '66. Wet and slippery conditions usually favors receivers over defensive backs due to the offense knowing the pass routes. And Doty has shown his accuracy as late as last week. Of course, this works for both teams but the Lions stats to date dont' support a devasting passing attack. But then again, if your averaging over 350 rushing yards/game, and winning, why pass very often? That said, they may have a great passing attack and just haven't had to unvail it yet. We'll know Saturday. Offense helps get you there, but defense wins championships. Good luck Indians!
