Roster Project: Help Needed

As a long intended website enhancement, and as a tribute to ALL past varsity football squads, a project to gather every season roster is underway. The all-time historical roster will be added to the web site as collected. Look for those to begin appearing very soon.

If you can scan or take a photo of any historical game program including the roster, and send it to me, please do so. PM me for an email address.

It’s cool to be able to reach back in time and see the lineage of players over nearly 100 years. Grandfathers, fathers, sons, uncles, brothers, nephews… Potentially even 4+ family generations.

I will do my best to find more game programs and rosters. I enjoy looking back at the history of PN-GISD. It is exactly what makes PN-G special. PN-G's core values of HONOR, PRIDE, and TRADITION were established by our great-grandparents, grandparents, and parents. It's not a recent fad or something that PN-G made up since the Internet took over the world. Those core values were established by hard working people that wanted a great, not good, but a great school district that excelled in all areas -- academics, athletics, music, art, theater, singing, vocational programs, citizenship, and community. We had great admins, teachers, coaches, and community support. From kindergarten through 12th grade, PN-GISD cared about you. PN-G's championship teams in all sports and extra-curricular activities stand on the lineage of nearly 100 years. It's why people say, "PN-G has special spirit...pass it on." That's why students and alums are loyal to PN-G, we fiercely protect all things PN-G Indians, and why others around the country think we are all nuts. We're not nuts. We're not all crazy for clinging to the 50s, 70s, 1999, or 2022. It's great to look back on the special teams and pass it on to our future generations. That's why, "We are PN-G."

A few more (2010,11,12,13) are in the pipeline, but assistance is needed to gather more seasons. If you have old varsity game programs, or access to any old varsity football rosters from a season not listed above, please consider making them available. Even a photo of the roster will do.
