Unfortunately that didn't say much...I assume we played our starters the full scrimmage? Were we using a very vanilla playbook? How was the tackling ? WB is a good matchup to get ready for the regular season.

Doesn’t sound like starters stayed in. Difficult to tell 130 miles away. :D

I think interest in football and sports in general is low this year. So not much conversation.

Ok talked to some people who attended. We were down 14-10 when the starters were pulled. The game was only 3 quarters and the starters for each team played for 2 quarters. We were actually up 10- zero or 10-3 at one time in the first. They said are guy looked crisp on offense and the defense was hard-hitting and quick to the ball.

One of the problems was this scrimmage was held on a Thursday night. I myself thought it was Friday and was out of town Thursday. I was driving home from Shelbyville Friday during the day excited to get home and head to Beaumont to watch the Indians when I read that the scrimmage already happened. Thursday night always draw smaller crowds and this was a scrimmage on a Thursday.
