Seating at Vidor stadium

Ok, I haven't been to Vidors stadium in years so what time should I get there for a good seat? The earliest I can get there is 530, I hope that's early enough. I've been hearing some talk that since this is their homecoming they will have a packed house and they allow their fans to overflow onto the visitors side. It seems there was a problem when LCM played there last year with Vidor fans that were on visitor side trash talking LCM players and fans and it almost got real ugly! Personally I'm not worried about it cause our side will be packed before theirs so they won't be sitting with us anyway...just wanted to give everyone a heads up. Oh, and I heard the parking is HORRIBLE!!

That should be a good time. Remember we are not LCM. LCM does not bring many fans. Vidor knows that PNG will bring the most fans to a game in this district. More than likely there won't be enough seats for our fans let alone have some for their fans. Also there is a ticket booth and entrance by the score board for the visitor side. THere is a big lot across the street from that booth that they have parking in. If not then you have to hike in !

It will all work out!! :) Just show up early with your purple on and tell those Vidor people that you are SAVING ALL THE SEATS ON THE VISITORS SIDE FOR YOUR FAMILY !! Your Big PURPLE FAMILY!! There are 6,000 members of your family coming to the game. That should take care of it!!! :woohoo:

Absolutely love it!!! This is how we should all act--like a family--instead of squabbling among each other.

we played them for homecoming around 4 yrs ago and vidor let there fans sit on our side.we had around 500 or 600 standing and the police had to ask the vidor fans to move to there side.it got pretty ugly between the police and some of the vidor fans.i wouldnt think vidor officials would make that same mistake.

I would hope not because those poor stands are going to be packed with purple wearing people. I for one will be there early.

Don't be surprised if you have some black shirts sitting on the PN-G side. Maybe we could bring some extra purple t-shirts and convert them to Indians!! :cheesy:

Trust me they would not want to sit by me especially if they don't like or say something to someone cheering on their team. I will tell them quick to go sit on their own side or shut the heck up.

Does Vidor still keep their playing field like a cow pasture? Back in the 1980s when we played there, the grass would be past ankle deep and thick ... they did that to slow down Beaumont West Brook, Thomas Jefferson, Beaumont French, etc. Being a strong running team like they are now in 2010, I wonder if they actually cut the grass over there or if it is still 4-inches deep with thick grass. I don't want our scat backs and quick WRs slowed down. I like our kids on field turf where they can make a move and get downfield.

I remember the seating being adequate long ago ... I doubt PN-G fans will have the troubles they experience when PN-G plays at LC-M or Livingston.

I thought Vidor's visitors section was just as small as LCM not sure about Livingston since I wasn't able to attend last years game.

TX Bob website says Vidors stadium holds 9600 and LCM holds 8500 so all I can say is get there early and give the Vidor folks a big ole PURPLE AND WHITE. :welcome:!!!

I remember the year the were Vidor fans were informed over the PA to not sit on the visitors side. For most of their home games the visitors side (probably) does not fill up; in those cases it is no big deal if some Vidor fans sit on the visitors side.

I do find it interesting that Vidor always seems to schedule their homecoming against PN-G when they can.
