Wow...is he retiring or moving onward and upward? The article says he resigned, but it does not mention if his resignation was prompted by retirement or a desire to go elsewhere. Is he old enough to retire under the Texas Retirement System? Are there issues as Silsbee that caused his resignation? From the outside looking in, he seemed to be a good coach and had a good program. Didn't his brother also recently resign at Lamar U? Hope all is well in the McGallion family and they can enjoy life doing whatever they choose to do...retirement or coaching. Life is short, so enjoy it.
