Successful Junior Varsity Season

Congratulations to all the JV players and coaches on another successful year! There were a lot of things to be proud of on this 7-3 season. ALL of the coaches have put a ton of effort into building confidence in this group and the kids have responded well. When you watch all the other sub-varsity teams you realize how fortunate we are to have the PROGRAM the we now have in place. The sophomore group has learned how good winning feels, the juniors have done an excellent job of leadership and creating team unity and Coach Cox did a great job of creating a winning attitude. The defense did an outstanding job this year despite losing 5 of its starters to either injury or varsity and the offense ran all over teams this year. They played very physical on both sides of the ball! This group's potential keeps growing and it will be fun to watch them on Friday nights. Thanks for a fun and exciting season!

Good stuff ... thanks for posting this information. Great job PN-G JV ... you are tomorrow's future Friday night stars. Keep that winning feeling alive and well during the offseason and get ready for 2011.

Go Indians. Peace.

the most impressive thing the coaches did was to get all 70+ players in most every game.most jv's we played had anywhere from 30 to 45 players.png started the year with around 75 and didnt lose very many.really shocked at the numbers from our 204a counterparts.central had maybe 35 kids last night.our freshmen team at one point had a 100 kids out.us and nederland are the only schools that fielded two freshmen teams(maybe one more).we could have not played everyone and maybe gone 10-0 but in the long run it was better to play as many kids as possible.faircloth gonna have to find a way to get arvie and wommack some carries next year.with miller, bertrand and lacour we are going to have a ton of weapons in the backfield.

You are right lu cards. Both Arvie & Wommack need to somehow get some touches next year. They are too good not to play somewhere.
