Tackling

I understand the seriousness of the health risks in football and am all for safety, but am also convinced that the changes in tackling techniques have given the advantage to runners. You're not going to stop a strong runner by shoulder and arm tackling them. A tackler needs to get his body, head included, and full leverage in front of the runner and stop his downfield momentum.

YAC (yards after contact) should be changed to YAT (yards after touched).

Tackling is something we should see improve with some live action

Adjusting to game speed and hitting, yes. But technique is learned and practiced. The safer technique is resulting in poor tackling at every level of the game. University of Texas is one of the best examples.
