DCTF usually comes out in mid-June. It will be interesting to see how other teams and the media perceive the 2019 Indians. We have a lot of yards to replace when you think of RJ's career at PN-G. He racked up yards through the air and on the ground, not to mention the TDs that he accounted for during 2016-2018. And, we must not forget all of the yards and TDs that he accounted for when things broke down and he made something out of nothing. We just need each player to do his job. The OL to block, the RBs to make plays in open space, the WRs to create space, get open, and catch the ball, and the QB to distribute the ball. Blake Bost will be more than fine. I think he is going to have a big year. He has athletic ability to run, throw, and make something out of nothing. Maybe not like RJ, but he can make plays when things go off script. He does not need to be RJ. He just needs to be the best Blake Bost that he can be and that will be a winning formula. He is tall, athletic, has great athletic bloodlines, and he is winner (in football, baseball, and the classroom). If the defense can make a few stops, PN-G will be a threat. There may be some growing pains early, but when district rolls around, barring injuries, watch out. Like everyone else, I'm excited about a big, mean, returning OL. That may be the strength of the team that holds things together while the rest of the kids find their groove. I'm guessing the statewide media, local media, and other area teams think PN-G will be a flop without RJ? I hope the 2019 Indians shock the hell out of them.
Go Indians. Peace.
