Texas HS Football Attendance Record

It looks like Jerry World is filling up nicely for the triple header state championship games today.

Regardless, the all-time single game record will always belong to PN-G and Plano high schools.

Attendance for the second game of the day, 5A D1Allen vs. Pearland, was 54,000+. Another game to follow.

I'm guessing the Katy v. Cedar Park game might have a shot to break 60,000+. If the majority of fans from the Pearland v. Allen crowd hang around, plus the 30,000 that Katy will bring, you could see a huge number.

PN-G v. Plano...times change, records are made to be broken.

More incentive for PN-G to get back to the big stage and make another run at a record crowd with all the great fans from SE Texas.

Until the format changes back to one game, PNG will hold the record. Regardless, The Texas Stadium record can NEVER be broken... and neither can the Astrodome record!
