Thank you for your dedication and efforts during a season that started and continued with uncertainty. Normal routines had to be changed and everything was different in many ways this season.
Despite some ups and downs, you ended the season on a high note and lost a playoff game that few thought you had a chance. Not only did you prove that wrong, you outplayed the favored team and nearly won the game. Instead of the often predicted 70-14 type of loss, you put fear and doubt in the minds of a team that dominated all year long. Some may want to call that a morale victory, but it's more so an indication of your heart and will to achieve.
The coaching staff deserves credit for preparing and architecting a game plan that allowed you to be competitive. And you gave your all to execute that plan.
The record may indicate a losing season and the history books will show a quick playoff exit, but this season was much more than that. Along with the challenges and some less than satisfying results came a final retribution. You played your best in the final game and that is what you'll be remembered by. Hang on to that and be motivated by it going forward knowing that you can and will overcome adversity of life. Life is not about scoring the most points or winning a game or championship, but it is all about doing everything within your power to be the best you can be, and seeking the guidance and executing the steps to achieve that. If you do that you will have success far beyond the football field.
And you are a PN-G Indian for life. Life is good.
