There is only one thing that we can say now........Let's Get It On.......

With lots going on out there in the district, with who beat who and who lost to who.....we need to help our Indians focus on Friday Night's game versus Vidor Pirates. As we all know, a game can go either way. So - we know that Vidor can put the ball on the ground with the running game and can even throw the ball down the field. We gotta play PNG football Friday night so that we can get another win under our belt. Guess you can say that this game is almost the biggest game of the season. We can't let nothing slip by us and no points get erased off the board. We need to encourage these fine young athletes so that they give us the game of the year to watch. Never under-estimate your opponent, and when we get the opportunity, we gotta score and keep scoring. Bum Phillips talked about knocking on the door, and then kicking it in. I say, we tear it off the hinges and knaw on it as we pump this fine Indians team up this week. We can't live in the past, all we can do is get excited for Friday nights game with the Pirates. If we cheer louder, perhaps they will play harder. Let's try it out as we need this win this week. One team, One Crowd, One Reservation.............your Reservation....PNG Indians!

I'm expecting the Pirates to be shown the plank and the Indians to put forth a dominant performance. The seniors will play their last game on the Reservation turf with one goal in mind: knock off another tough Pirate team and roll into the playoffs with momentum. Forget the last two close losses. Offensive and defensive lines, play every play like you're on fire and the guy across from you stole your favorite possession. It's time to get after it and dominate the line of scrimmage.

Coach said that he expects the Pirates to go all out. They may not even punt, because they have nothing to lose. Should be interesting.

Yes - we go at them from the beginning and play until the whistle blows. In my opinion, perhaps Coach should think about letting Walker play some QB also. Come time for playoffs and should Morse need a break, Walker can come in and continue to march on without missing a beat. Getting him some snaps and abilities to run and throw the pigskins will benefit all involved. Sure, people can get a little rusty at times, but this will help us keep the cue chalked up just incase it's needed. What do you think?????????

Would love to see us mover #47 Morris to Middle LB for this game. Kid is only a Soph and is a beast!!

Who is second string QB? Seems like they would honor that. Unless Walker has been getting practice snaps all along, he wouldn't be very effective.

Ditto - Walker is the backup QB. Even though he plays CB on defense, he does warm-up during pre-game as a QB throwing some routes to keep his throwing arm in motion just in case it's needed. That young man keeps a cool head on at all times. Yes - he is a Senior this year and with playing the last game at The Reservation, I can foresee Coach Faircloth letting his seniors play. We need to win this game no matter what so we can prepare for the playoffs but we gotta keep in mind to keep our players healthy. We have key players already out for the season, so we gotta keep a close eye on this situation. Yes, I have heard 47 was a beast before too. Would be nice to see some of these underclassmen get a chance to play on the field Friday night. They need all of our support so if you are reading this, we sure hope to see you in the stands on Friday night. Go PNG!!!!!!!

didn't really care for the article in the PA NEws pointing out that we have lost all 3 close games to our 3 top rivals this season. Ned.. WOS and Central. Our program may not be the richest, biggest or have the most extreme facilities BUT what we do have is the best student/athletes, teacher/coaches and parent support in the state of Texas!!!!!!!!!!!

lets go deep in the playoffs and show how good we are.

JV beats Vidor 30-16
Freshman Purple gets beat 28-27. We attempted a 32 yard FG with 16 seconds left for the win and missed wide right by about 1/2 a yard.
