And, what could be the logic for putting Nederland ahead of PNG after the Butt-Whooping they got??? Brackets?

And as good citizens who practice sportsmanship, that opinion is not gloating on the MCM win. But also not conceding to any moral victories that Nederland fans might be imagining. Bulldogs had injured players out, Indians had injured players out, and the TEAM performance on the field weighed heavily in the winners favor.

Port Neches-Groves does indeed have a salty defense. It just took 6 games to ‘soak’ before getting tuned up.

It’s obviously only 4 people or entities voting so wouldn’t put too much stock into it. We can beat anyone on the list if we play like we have the last 4-5 games.

The key will be continued better play from the defense. Does anyone know why #6 Dakota Baxter wasn’t on the field against Nederland? He’s one of the better defensive backs, flies all over the field and is a hitter.

Other big difference would be even better blocking from the o line, which is a young unit decimated by injuries, but still improving. Probably not a lot of playoff teams with a freshman, a sophomore, and 3 juniors starting on the offensive line.
