I’ve noticed that many new users have either found or chosen to join this message board community recently. Probably out of curiosity or intention to speak your voice on the recent change in Coach Faircloth’s situation.
Having started this message board over 20 years ago as a supplement to pngindians.com, it has always been our intent here to recognize and support past, present and future generations of PN-G student athletes and programs. It’s also a place where community topics can be and are discussed. It is nothing more than a virtual reflection of community and alumni sentiment. Many of us here live in other parts of the state, Nation and world. Some of us are supporters of other schools. But we all care for or have interest in PN-G topics.
It is not our intention, and never will be to cause controversy or support ‘political’ efforts. This is a non-profit, no ad, no agenda site that desires to recognize and support anything that celebrates Port Neches and Groves.
At times, unfortunately, we are faced with topics and situations that are not pleasant. This is one of those times. Not because we want it, but because it is now reality, for whatever the reasons.
Please feel free to speak your mind but show restraint, objectivity and common sense.
But also please keep in mind that the long term success of PN-G HS, PNGISD and the communities of PN and G is the ultimate objective and desire here. Any other agenda will likely be perceived and called out. We are not here to criticize any aspect of PNGISD. But questions about decisions and outcomes are normal and unavoidable.
Also keep in mind that this is no place for explicit threats or extreme positions that attack anyone or anything. Conversations here are not overly controlled, there is no heavy hand of moderators UNLESS the line of sensibility is drastically crossed.
Thank you for joining. You will find that the vast majority of content is positive, enlightening and enjoyable if you are a fan of PNG football, baseball and all other sports. We look forward to your thoughts and contributions.
And speaking for the community here, we wish the best of luck to Coach Faircloth, his family and his football staff. His time here was appreciated.
