We didn't need Texas Football to tell us this! But it is definitely a strong affirmation of what we already knew. Oh, and it puts the rest of the state on notice!

other rivalry games have dropped off, put it like this if Nederland had somehow miraculously kept their streak going it would probably be in the same boat but still a top rivalry game. Now you add in the best QB in the state and a win last year breaking the bullpuppy streak with Ned having a new HC now and both having crazy fanbases when this game comes around already: interest is spiked.

Png vs Ned earned this ranking after what has taken place, and probably wont relinquish that ranking at least for the next couple years, unless of course Ned gets spanked like a red-haired stepchild. opcorn:

It is HANDS DOWN the best rivalry BECAUSE PNG has she greatest fan/student support of any high school in the world per capita. My alma mater has honorable mention with our hometown rivalry Texas High vs Arkansas High in Texarkana. (A game my grandfather played in during the 20s) And while that one is way more violent in the week leading up to the game, the PNG-Ned game is actually something to be proud of. The list of rivalries 2-10 THINK they have something to compare to MCM but they don't. No t even close. Texarkana is a big time baseball town similar to CC but I'm proud to say PNG is now on that list (heck yeah).
