As much negative things as have been observed and said about the defense, this seems a very appropriate time to give them a very big shout out for a great job last night.

NO KIDDING!!!!! Way to go guys!!! That's the aggression and passion we need. Tear their heads off. Great game. I had the folks in the stands in Round Rock asking how "how are your boys doing" since they know I listen live.

Great game for both the offense and defense. Some new guys pulled up from JV and made some good plays too. We got the ball rolling back in our favor now. So lets roll in to Beaumont and ROLLOVER the Panthers.

Who was number 32 that but a good lick on that reciever in the 4th quarter? I always go down on the field after they let you to congradulate the team but did not see him. Good team D, normal standouts did there job and the new guys did great.

Go PNG!

His name is Dalton Peveto and he is a 10th grader who transferred here from Orangefield. I thought he looked great at there and I know PNG is glad to have him.

Great job D!! and was Arron Easely awesome on those sacks!! 2 of them , for a NT to get a scan it was amazing!

As I said on one of the other thread, but it is worth repeating, the defense was AWESOME. Easley was planting the QB so hard I was expecting thd QB to get up with yard line stripes on his jersey. Hits that hard might damage our pretty tuff but I hope these guys test its limits. I sure was hoping DJ would score after that INT. KEEP IT UP INDIANS!

DJ playing linebacker was nice to see. Nederland schemed away from him while at DE. Putting him in the middle standing up allowed him to make more plays. Great intensity out there.

Good post pngfan93, and you are right! It is time to give these kids some props! Two people commented to me in the stands that "Now we are playing some Indian Football"! The boys were fired up and playing hard last night. Good job to all the Indians, and good luck next week. Crank it up another level and lets hurt some Panther feelings at the "Butch". Good luck to the Indian Band at competition on Saturday. We are very likely to get two wins next Saturday!

Our D did an AWESOME job Friday night! I felt quite a few of those hits from where I was sitting... :thud:! I have to say I was so proud of Aaron Easley! I've known his family since I was in HS and him since before he was born, and it's been a pleasure watching him grow into such a fine young man. He is such a wonderful role model both on and off the field. We attend church together and he is always giving his time to teach Jesus to the little ones. Every Sunday and most Wednesdays you can find him at church praising and worshipping God. His parents have raised one heck of a man and his effort on the football field is paying off, can't wait to see more! Go #61!!!

Peveto must be the younger brother of the Lamar player from Orange Field. Great work D!

They may be related, but are not brothers. Peveto has one brother in 8th grade
