I have had a day from Hell and would like to hear some happy news. Anyone got anything good to say?

Let's sing...(yes, alcohol may have influenced this thread, but not that much)

Always be faithful to Purple and White...(your turn)

afndn has his "popcorn ready!" Now take that popcorn and go camp out in front of the admin building to see who is going in for interviews. When you get there, NDN81 will be by with the beer and Zummos...

OK.......happy thread. I went to see the Eagles at the Toyota Center in December. Was an awesome concert that had been rescheduled from Hurricane Ike!!! :woot:
It started at 7:30 and was not over with till around 12:00. As I said, the band :band: was awesome and sang just about everyone of their songs (along with my help of course :cheesy:). But the Toyota Center was hot as hell and hard to breath (stuffy).

Going to see Lynyrd Skynyrd on January 30 at Coushatta. :woot: Have floor seats and arm bands to go up to the stage. Isn't life great!!!!

I was at the Toyota Center on December 28 for the Trans Siberian Orchestra Concert. Talk about a great concert! They had two sold out concerts in one day. We got to the arena, and it was still smoking from the earlier show. I had read somewhere that they use some of Pink Floyd's crew to design and build the sets. If you've never seen them, you're really missing out on something. If T-13 ever comes around here again, he'll agree with me -- he's the one that got me hooked on them several years back.

Anyone else see their live show?

Hey, I got to go to the Toyota Center too!!! The day before Thanksgiving. My neice's husband had 4 tickets to the Rockets' game, and I thought, "What the hay...They sell beer there" so off we go, along with my 5th grader who LOVES sports. Turns out we were about 4 rows behind the Rockets' O0 bench, in the uppercrust section. Ticket prices $104.00 ea., but we went for free! :guns: So, at the ripe old age of 50, I finally attended a basketball game (other than Little Dribblers).

Turn it up....

Sweet Home Port Neches and Groves - where the skies are so blue....sweet home PNG, where Purple is everywhere for people to see....

Maybe if I had a beer - this would rhyme better....
