West Brook headed to the State Championship

The Brook defeated Austin Westlake to advance to the State Championship next week in Dallas.

I'll be watching...on tv. Going to be a great game between them and Longview. Longview has gotten so close to winning it all but has never won the big game. This one is going to be fun!

Longview technically won it in 1937 if you count that lol. I lived there for a good while. They are a crazy fan base (not like PNG though)

In general I suspect that high school football attendance is down from previous decades for practically every school. Even the big metro area schools don’t travel that well. North shore had fewer fans at NRG than PN-G had. And PN-G crowds in recent years are a shadow of the 70s era. Even Katy Tigers game attendance is nothing to brag about either.


There are many more entertainment options now than back then.
