Don't get much news from Ohio on PN-G but would love to see some post about what is going on in Texas regarding the upcoming football season. I am a member of Dave Cambell's Texas Football they have been silent on any of this.

Don’t get much news in HTown area either! Boots on the PN and G ground who share info here are scarce these days.

Per some of my old classmates still living in PN and G, everyone is still in a wait and see mode. Many are wanting to know if school will resume with the students attending in-person or attending online? If the ISD goes forward with in-person attendance, will normal activities be allowed or will they be cancelled? I think the PN-GISD and local residents are waiting on more guidance from national, state, and local officials and from the TEA.

We should all pray for our country. Many things are not as they’re being made out to be. Radical forces of division and disruption are at endless work. And it’s about much more than a virus or the unfortunate death of a man. There is much more at play and at stake.

Good sign. On Max preps where formerly all the teams I follow had 3-4 games on schedule. Now most of them have full schedules booked. Nederland is our first district game. Unusual right?

Things are looking good for the upcoming season if there are no setbacks. PNG sold out their season tickets in 8 minutes this morning. Over 50 years of sellouts if not more.

BH & Crosby made the State's Top 10 teams. No Nederland or PNG. Gonna be a tough season, no doubt. But once we get out of District, we should be battle tested, for sure.

Yes, I saw that as well and can't believe I haven't yet received my DCTF Magazine yet. Usually comes out in June. Would like to believe PNG will be in the top 25 based on returning players and finish in last years polls. Definitely going to be a tough district. I just hope they play the season with or without fans but who knows. Of course would much rather fans.

Polls don't mean a thing. I've heard that the young defensive talent coming up from the sub-varsity teams is above average. And the offense will fire as usual with Bost and company. Faircloth is always going to field a competitive team.

I second that - in 99 we were ranked #20 in preseason polls and ended up ranked #2.
