So, I've been in Tennessee for the past 2 1/2 months, working storm stuff and living in my RV. Travelers come and go each day and I never really talk to any of them... no reason to. But recently, there was an RV with TX plates, so, I drifted over there and asked what part of TX. The elderly gentleman stated that he was from the Dallas area. He asked where I was from and I told him the Beaumont area. He stated that he knew some people down that way. I said that, I'm really from Groves, but no one knows where THAT is. He said... Port Neches-Groves? I smiled and said, yes sir, born and raised.
He told me that he's a retired football coach and that he "knows all about PNG!"
I thought that was pretty cool.
BTW, I will FINALLY be headed home on Thursday. Will be glad to see the family again.

I could not be more proud of our team and our community. The spirit here is unmatched! I am so lucky to be a part of it and to wear the purple and white! The journey of this football season, with these coaches and our players, will stay with me forever.  -- PN-G Head Coach Jeff Joseph
