There's No Place Like The Reservation Friday Night

Well, it was 46 years late, but I finally got to sing this song to myself on the way home after a PN-G state championship! Saturday night after the game, I was listening to a Dallas radio station in the car. The song, "In the Air Tonight" by Phil Collins was playing. When I heard the line, "I've been waiting for this moment all my life," it suddenly dawned on me: I HAVE been waiting for this moment all my life!! Go Indians!
Me to. I was at the 75 game and the 77 game as well as the 99 game. I was to young to remember the 70s games. This is me in 1977

Same here…went to every one!! Celebrated my 3rd birthday and a STATE CHAMPIONSHIP at the 1975 game! Just glad I don’t have to hear…”it’s been 48 YEARS since PNG won a State Championship” EVER again :p

I remember them so well because we had just moved from PN to Texarkana
So we not only got to see all our friends but experience real football games with real fans lol
Back then I thought
Well at least I get to see everyone from PN at Texas Stadium for the finals every year lol. My next PNG game since 77 would end up being 07

In 06 (I believe) I went to games all over Houston
And I saw the busses and painted cars pulling into Pasadena stadium
It’s right across the road from our yoga studio at that time. I thought to myself
Why am I going to Houston area games when the best experience is 1:30 away

I’ve been to probably 50% of the games since then give or take including 100% one year.

PN-G INDIANS FOOTBALL

I could not be more proud of our team and our community. The spirit here is unmatched! I am so lucky to be a part of it and to wear the purple and white! The journey of this football season, with these coaches and our players, will stay with me forever.  -- PN-G Head Coach Jeff Joseph
