MCM ticket sales info

yeah the letter states it must be lower case. everything about buying these tickets was ridiculous.
You would think there would be a conversation with the ticket sales provider about traffic for this game. Nederland had every opportunity to prepare for this.

I agree. If this ticket sales provider can handle college football ticket sales, concert ticket sales , etc then PNG nation shouldn’t be an outlier and crash the system. adequate resources may not have been allocated because it was a little high school game.

Very suspicious…

I don’t think PayK12 or Hometown Fan do ticket sales for anything other than Middle and High School events. Colleges, NFL, and most concerts usually use the big providers like Ticketmaster, AXS…etc which are setup to handle a MASS amount of traffic but the fees they charge are OUTRAGEOUS!!
No matter what, PNG stopped using PayK12 cause it’s HORRIBLE so Nederland either needs to switch to something better or go back to issuing paper tickets for MCM!

What a FIASCO, and that’s putting mildly! I haven’t gotten a email and hopefully I won’t but this was posted on PN Neighborhood Watch page so just wanted to share it here in case any of you weren’t aware!

Bummer, I had zero, Nada, no chance in getting a ticket. I can imagine the disappointment and frustration of getting a ticket only to find out it's no good.
Best of luck to anyone who goes through all the pain. I bet it will be worth it.

I hope my ticket is still valid. I haven’t received a PayK email yet. I will be traveling nearly 4 hours to Port Neches and have a hotel reservation booked. $6 ticket refund will not compensate. It’s not the cost but the failure to bond/rejuvenation with Indian Nation in helping indirectly in achieving a single goal/purpose.

Yeah, I didn’t get a email either so hopefully no news is good news but SOMETHING needs to be done to keep this from happening again!

Sounds like a struggling pay platform. May be time for NISD to seek a better solution.
But still, the district owns the responsibility. The right thing to do is put up some temp seating and honor those ticket buyers.

You’re absolutely right! I made the same comment to a friend yesterday about extra bleachers for the unfortunate ticket holders. A refund and the additional bleacher seating would show the appropriate effort to make this right. The Indian fans should not be the ones to suffer the consequences of a faulty system!

We shall see how much good will exists between the communities. NISD needs to make it right. They are complicit not by intent but in that it’s the system of their choice. Do the right thing and don’t just lay the blame on a 3rd party.

Well, I saw this posted on PN Neighborhood Watch FB so it doesn’t sound like NISD is too concerned about making it right…ugh!
If the situation were reversed I’m pretty confident PNGISD would come up with a better solution to accommodate ALL the Nederland fans who purchased tickets!!

They do know how to add seating. Or allow people to bring their own chairs and sit in the end zone. Looks like they found a way to add to the rivalry and at the same time manage to infuriate however many Indian season ticket holders were a victim of mismanagement.

If I was running NISD I'd add as many extra seats as possible and bring in Xtra food trucks and any other way to make $$. If you're not going to win the game then at least make as much money as possible.

Haha, I’d prefer we just dish out some KARMA and beat them so bad that they won’t even think about storming OUR FIELD again…EVER!!
Im surprised a fight didn't break out...there was no need to storm the field last year its not like we didn't win for close to 20 years and finally won it on our home field...it was at Port Neches and thats what made it disrespectful IMO

That may be another one of Nederland's problems. They treat MCM as a successful season (supported by the numerous comments from Bulldogs that as long as they win against PN-G). That mentality could permeate.

PN-G has the goal and the bar as the state championship (as evidenced by 2022, 2023...)

Storming the field usually indicates that a huge upset has occurred so I think PN-G storming the field after any game is nonsense, but I understand students and fans want to celebrate.
