That was a long day. That had to factor into the sloppy defensive play late in game 2.

Good games by both teams. KP didn’t give up. PNG needs to come out hot in game 3. Game 2 was there to take behind Curtis. I’ll give credit to KP for limiting the runs when they needed to counter the great pitching from Curtis.

Pitching couldn’t hold up in the 9th, resulting in a disastrous at bats that doomed us. Also, we had a great chance to get the win with runners on corners and 1 out and couldn’t get it done. On to game three. Anyone know the actual game time? NDN Press said 2pm as originally scheduled but NFHS said 4pm even before this game. And coaches may want it later due to late game tonight. I will post if I figure it out and hopefully someone else will if they find out.

Yea, not just the pitching but definitely some sloppy defensive play.

Still scheduled for 2pm best i can tell. Rain forecast to arrive around 2-4pm so hopefully we can get the game in and get the win!

With Curtis on the mound and pitching well, it was there for the taking. But KP also had a good pitcher and cancelled out that advantage. Lanford Lunceford will need to put on his cape and hold them down. (Excuse that name joke in reference to the Brenham announcers.) And hoping that KP used their best already. The team that takes a big early lead will be tough to overcome. Hoping that Indian bats will be on fire today.
