Faircloth isn't a huge fan of players playing both ways. Romero ever playing offense would mean that the offense is seriously struggling, which they really aren't. It boils down to the o-line run blocking for any sort of success running the football. They have their shining moments, but... -

Luncford, Thompson and DJ from last year ?
I heard Lumpy is starting at left guard and is doing very well. He's definitely making some noise early. DJ is third string but i'm sure he's moving his way up the depth chart. I haven't heard anything about Thompson though. -

Observations from the Game
#4 Jayce scored 2 TDs, #10 Lacour scored 1 TD and #28 Alan Hanks scored 1 TD. I thought distribution was pretty good. #11 Chipman was only thrown to a couple times, but no drops in your first varsity outing should be considered a win in itself. Jayce had his guy beat every time and Travis... -

Senior Qualifies for State Powerlifting Meet
Congrats to senior Kevin Angus for qualifying for state. He qualified in the 114.5 lb weight class. I believe he came in 3rd at regionals, but he met the total weight requirement. The meet will be held in Abilene. -

Power lifting meet today at West Brook.
Top 10 in the region in each respective weight division competes at regionals. At regionals, the top 2 performers in each division qualify for regionals PLUS the performers who lift equal to or over a set amount. That's how it was last year. -

At the district meet, the top two lifters in each weight division qualifies for regionals. When at regionals, you can qualify for state with lifting a certain amount of weight regardless of place OR placing top two in respective weight division. -
