Teachers have to work 2 weeks before school starts, but MANY others work more weeks than the teachers. My neighbor is employed in the district, and he only has a few weeks off during the summer. Teachers get 10 weeks of the summer off. I support teachers, but i don't feel they are the only... -

I heard from a guy at the school board meeting that there were several dozen people in attendance to support the coaches. The board voted to leave the $4,000 in the coaches contracts until their contract expires. After that the $4,000 would be paid as a stipend from there out. So the coaches... -

Re: May 12th board meeting in Groves I totally support Faircloth and all of the coaches. If the coordinators get an extra stipend, that is fine with me. They put in an unbelievable amount of extra hours so they have more than earned the money. I will definitely keep my eye on the next...
