It's hard to say why he is leaving, but from reading the thread, there could be a lot of reasons...I'm guessing, like one poster said, he had a heart to heart with Jimbo on where he stood and he wasn't going to be the starter next year. After the Alabama game, he only had a few descent games... -

I think it would be a great idea to play them in non district to get ready for district....but I also think it would be great to play WOS like Nederland does every year. I'm not sure why we can't make that happen (but at least we scrimmage them). -

I am curious who we will get in our district now with those 2 leaving.....I didn't see anything about former schools moving back up ...so possibly Galena Park plus one that i'm sure will be at least 1 hour to travel to if not longer. -

I didn't understand why Texas High was in Region 3 being as far north as they are. As big as Texas is, 4 Regions is a stretch, but it is what it is. -
