Yes I’ve been very surprised how Dayton has struggled the last 2-3 years Also until maybe 6-7 years ago we were 0-fer against them all time finally beat them I believe Roschon’s sophomore year. Or maybe freshman playoff game can’t remember. (I was there just can’t remember if we won that one...

I meant the big rollers seem to always be the ones that they couldn’t or shouldn’t attempt to catch (low line drives , knuckleballs etc. wild crazy punts

And basically our first 3 and out vs FBM Was ruined by a muffed punt gave them the ball at our 19

It’s because now for some reason (starting in early 2000s) Where used to like a pass only the eligible receivers could leave the LOS UNTIL the ball was punted Well that includes the punter and any protectors in the backfield (usually there are 3 now) so in the past that would make only 2...

I’m saying it seems like the only ones that roll very far are dead ducks etc. my eyeball math sees more penalties/fumbles/ etc than returns

To me the game took a huge turn when we stopped them 3&out then muffed the punt and they made it 7-0 Like the air was let out of the tires Then 14-0 we’re riding on rims where even at that point 7-0 you feel like you’re still in it or who knows maybe 7-7

To me you either hurry the punter or make him think you’re coming but mainly be there to put pressure on bad snaps and maybe fall back into fake prevent The Chance of a bad snap and or bad punt far exceeds a return of equal or greater value.

In HS unless you win track meets regularly I see very little reason to put a punt returner back except to fair catch and prevent rolls. But honestly I see very few catchable balls roll in HS (not saying never) Especially with the rule changes (I believe early 2000s where every player can leave...

I’m offended by Buffalos I mean they’re basically extinct can’t speak for themselves (Bison are not extinct) so that’s ok

The thing that’s happening this year that I haven’t seen in the recent past Is downhill high acceleration NS running There always seemed to be a little hiccup in every running play except for Roschon right and Roschon left (which Bost did well too as well as Adams now) To me a “handoff” is a...
