The current bus maintenance shop will be the future home of the weight room and training rooms. Basically an all purpose training facility. The current weight room will be repurposed as a larger locker room, team meeting rooms, and an officials locker room.
I like the look of senior OL Hudson Bond. He’s looking strong. Junior Hunter Ansell has moved into the #1 spot at center. He’s smaller at only 190# but he’s got grit and has the heart for it. Junior Eli Smith is starting to get reps at TE and really holding his own. This could free up Junior...
The fully enclosed facilities have their own set of issues. They need to be fully climate controlled otherwise they become a disgusting sweat box of mold and mildew. And it’s simply not cost effective to keep a building that size climate controlled at all times. The cover we are getting serves...
We are basically getting an RV cover the size of a full sized football field. That’s exactly what we’re getting. The same thing Memorial has but twice the size.
They are going to have to use every advantage they can. Ashworth is the most mobile QB we’ve had since Roschon so they are going to key off that. Taking some pressure off Henry to have to run himself to death. With a smaller OL than we’ve had in 5 years we need to be faster and more agile. I’m...
From what I understand the only real need is the ability to still practice during lightning. Thus, it’s just a covered full turf field. Like a giant car port. Allows athletes to remain outside in rain or lightning.
It’s because the bond is not just for athletic facilities. It’s also for a new bus depot, new maintenance shop, new locker room/weight room, new visitor locker room and also a refurb of the auditorium.
It will be a full sized 100yd field with full endzones. It is not going to be “indoors”. It will be covered almost exactly like what Memorial has at their practice field behind their school.
Hansing has experience playing OL. Is Bull strong, fast, and has great technique. Hopefully he can stay at HB/TE where he received all district honors this season, and our other OL’s can figure it out.
