IMPORTANT: June 16th School Board Meeting in Groves

I think that was 78 Indian's point. Teachers work very, very hard, but they get the same perks as the rest of us. They have time to themselves and they can choose how they use it, whether it be working in their classrooms or handling something personal that needs attention during the day...

IMPORTANT: June 16th School Board Meeting in Groves

Re: May 12th board meeting in Groves Balsamo ran unopposed last time. I will be at the board meeting too. At least if no one gets the opportunity to speak, there's power in numbers and maybe the intimidation of a room full of people there to witness this vote will make a difference. I think...

IMPORTANT: June 16th School Board Meeting in Groves

Re: May 12th board meeting in Groves They can deny it until they are blue in the face, but all it takes is going back and looking at how these board members have voted in the past on issues concerning Faircloth and the athletic program. Balsamo can deny he has anything against the coaching...

IMPORTANT: June 16th School Board Meeting in Groves

Re: May 12th board meeting in Groves ImaginerYYZ, you hit the nail on the head. It's all about throwing the weight of their power around and pushing their own agendas. This is what happens when you put the wrong people in the power seat. I hope our community remembers this come election time.

IMPORTANT: June 16th School Board Meeting in Groves

Re: May 12th board meeting in Groves No offense to the teachers who put in extra work, time, and go above and beyond for our kids, but think about all the pressure that comes with being an offensive or defensive coordinator. These guys face the possibility of losing their jobs if 16-17 year...

IMPORTANT: June 16th School Board Meeting in Groves

Re: May 12th board meeting in Groves By the way, $4,000 a year works out to about $77 per week. Anyone who thinks our coaches don't put in the extra time to garner another 77 bucks doesn't know much about the mentality and committment of our coaching staff.

IMPORTANT: June 16th School Board Meeting in Groves

Re: May 12th board meeting in Groves If you were at the board meeting on Monday you would have witnessed these two board members attempt to have the $4,000 stipends taken away from these coaches effective immediately. Why don't we show these two board members how we feel about those who don't...

    Vidor sign

Has anyone at the game noticed the real men take knees sign? The Indians are wearing a 28 on their helmets and everyone wore 28 ribbons at school and this is the type of good sports the pirates are?!?! That's so classless. Let it go !

    Crowd Noise

THANK YOU NDNSROCK!!!! The cheerleaders and band and indianettes do a great job of keeping the momentum up but they don't know when to play songs and use the thunder and make noise signs. I think the spirit leaders see the crowd being quieter and think they need to make noise when really it's...

Most exciting HS football game I've ever seen.

This makes me think we can go all the way and win state. I was in high school in '99 and we lost to WO-S, who ruined our perfect season, but we moved on and all the way. Central wanted to take away our perfect season and didn't. Maybe it's a sign that STATE IS OURS!!!
