All this talk about a new coach is getting old.

Let's talk about who that coach will have returning and who should be making Varsity debuts next season.
Position by position:
This is what I know (some may be wrong) you guys help fill in the blanks with the JV and potential Sophomores (I know we have a couple big Freshman this year):

OT: Lunceford
OG: Easley
C:
OG: Langlois
OT:
TE: Shetley (younger one)
WR: Segura
QB: Not sure who the young guy that came up at the end of the year was, I think he was a Soph. Otherwise Benoit.
FB: Harmon
TB: Raggio?

Defense
CB: Dunbar
DE: Shexneider
DT:
DE: Thompson
CB: St. Clair
LB: Kerr
LB: Benoit
LB: T. Wright?

Is there another Schexnaider in the Indian pipeline at DE? Is he similar to Zeke? 6'4" or 6'5" and can run down and blow up QBs? That would be a nice addition to the Indian defense. Terry Cobb can create DE monsters with kids standing 6'3" 6'4" 6'5" ... if any coach can create a playmaking DE, it is Coach Cobb. Any other news about the Indians of 2009?

Go Indians. Peace.

Was told by a family member that a kid that moved out of the district is coming back next year. Started for Waxahachie this year. Played DE and listed at 6'3" and 225 lbs...He was a sophomore and will be a junior in 09'. Hope this happens, we could use him....

Now sure what position he plays but there is another Schexnaider, he will be a Jr. next year and he is Zeke's younger brother.

Nope he is Zeke's brother and he looks just like Zeke. I hear he is also meaner than Zeke. He will be a Junior next year.

Speaking of Zeke, I checked the Texas State roster a couple of times last season and didn't see his name. Anyone know if he decided to go elsewhere or if he's still playing football?

Dallas Davis is another one to add. He is a hoss! Didn't see much playing time on varsity (although some), but was great on JV. He is bigger than Greg Lunceford. Gizzi will be back also.

Them Gizzi boys may be small, but they play like their ten feet tall like their daddy did.
Dallas Davis was a big kid. I wondered why he never played this year. Of course i also wondered why we had so many Sophomores on Varsity that were not playing (lunceford, thompson, etc.)???

Does anyone know what our QB situation will be like next year? Who was the JV QB and who was the kid that they brought up in the last game (one in the same)? I know Benoit was our backup this year, but if we could keep him at LB it would be nice.

Is Doty a Sophomore?
Which one will be the better passer?
How tall are they? Doty looked to be over 6'. Is he Bretts brother?

Doty is a soph. and yes he's tall. He missed much of the JV season with an injury this past year, but the coaches felt they needed to move him up to varsity for the final game. He is the younger brother to Brett Doty.
