It's too bad we have to face FBM for the 1st game of district again ... hopefully we are better prepared this year as last year the team was still getting used to the new system etc.

True for the first several games. It was a different team later in the season. Even by the second half of the first game. The system and different culture should be well established by now.

Let's hope your are correct :) .... ultimately, we just need to make the playoff's. I'm sure we will be a well oil machine by the end of the season.

We always seem to be late bloomers which is better than the other way around

Thanks for sharing! I wonder how accurate this is indicating that Shea will be at QB. I'm not complaining as good things happen when he has the ball, but I still have to wonder if the other QB's we have might overall be a better fit for the team? I'm sure Coach Joseph knows what he is doing, so I'll have faith that whatever the decision, it's best fit for the team.

Coaches know best and won’t be afraid to make changes as needed for the optimal outcome. Adams will be a true dual threat QB. Fans may forget that he’s an excellent passer and his ability to run the ball is proven. A 6-5 QB will see the field well. His leadership may be the most important factor. Even so, it would not be surprising to see some creative plays where he switches to receiver and the other QB sees some playing time.

I agree ..at the end of the day, good things happen when he has the ball in his hands. In the finals, it seemed like prior to the 4th quarter, when he was at QB, it was mainly to run the ball ... I'm sure he had the option to throw, but it was always run I believe. After Crippen was hurt in the 4th and he wasn't in just situational spots, the playbook changed.

All of the QBs ended up looking pretty good this past spring, (even though "no hits allowed", etc.). WRT defense, I think that everyone saw enough playing time last season to get some good experience. A few of last seasons' defensive players were getting some time on offense this spring, and in the 7x7 games as well. It'll be interesting. Hoping that no one gets injured; not sure about depth.
