PNG Softball off to a rocky start with 13-6 overall record. However, they are off to a good start in district with a 4-1 record, good enough for second place behind league leading BH. They will face BH on Tuesday the 17th.

Girls currently have 7-3 record in district play, tied for third place with Sterling. The top teams are the same as for the boys, namely BH, Nederland. PNG, and Sterling. We split our games with Nederland and our other two losses are to BH and Sterling. However, we still have a chance for revenge against BH and Sterling in the second game. The game against Sterling is tomorrow night and will break the tie for third place.

Big game against BH tonight. However, it will be an uphill battle. In 12 games of district play BH has allowed only 1 run. Lets shock the world!!

Girls lose 14-1 to Barbers Hill. At least we did score only the second run in 13 games of district play against them. Needless to say, BH appears to be a serious contender to win state.

Girls finish district play with 21-0 win over Beaumont United to finish one game behind Nederland in third place. On to the playoffs!
