Yes PNG will participate in 7 on 7 we will also be welcoming in a new coach somewhere on the defense. Two offensive players looks to be moved to the defense. Possible two defensive to offense. This season I believe we will se an extremely physical o line. With a new style of strong QB play. This team has a load of talent on this and we as fans should be excited about IndiAns 2019. Lest we not forget the 2018 IndiAns won the district championship at the 7th 8th 9th JV levels and the Groves 8th ties for second. The barrels of the proverbial gun are loaded. The Indians have a lot of talent coming up

Supposedly one lineman moving to DT not sure who another Offensive player moving to defense as well.

Fast forward to this point after 2 scrimmages and we have seen the starting lineups.

We now know that Abraham Reyes moved to nose guard and Gavin Deslatte is now at linebacker.

2018 starting guard Osbourne has moved to H-Back. Jacob is essentially a sixth offensive lineman but at only about 6' 205 has good quickness and agility to pull, catch or run.

Hernandez flipped from defensive back to running back. He has pretty good quickness but has room to improve on his blocking.

Would love to see a north-south runner getting some snaps that will hit the hole and get the tough yards. Not enough speed there to dance around or run around a lot of defenders.

There are several more fresh faces that will see playing time. Lots to talk about in the coming 10+ weeks!

Time to reshuffle the OL.

I spoke with a friend that saw the WB scrimmage, but not the WO-S scrimmage. The varsity has two solid RBs. One was a north/south runner. Not a big bruising RB, but a strong runner that was not afraid to run over people. #21 or #20-something. The slot-WR has been the go to guy. He catches the ball and gets up the field with some quickness. No speedy deep threat. The OL was good at power-run blocking, but they had some issues with pass protection. A solid power-run OL is a good thing. That all sounds promising. As the OL gels, they should be a strength of the team. QB is fine. He can throw the ball all over the yard. On defense, the DL and LBs are good. They have some size to rumble. Regardless of the level of play, everyone picks on DBs. Pee-wee, JR-high, high school, college, and pro...everyone picks on the DBs. As long as our kids play hard, do their best to keep everything in front of them, and have fun playing a game, I can live with the results and be happy. DBs will make mistakes. That's OK. Play hard, be coach-able, do your best, and have fun. Kicker is rock solid. We have a kicker that is reliable on FGs from 30yds-40yds out. He will kick it deep on kick-offs. That is all the info that I have. I'm excited to see the Indians. I think the Indians will have a good season and another fun ride. Our Indians may not go undefeated, but the pieces are there for another DC. I hope that our kids avoid injuries and have some fun.

Go Indians. Peace.

All three of our first opponents are going to be really good. Especially Huntsville. And Silsbee is ranked 3rd in 4-2 behind Pleasant Grove (an absolute beast this year) and Jasper. (WOS 5th) May try to get back home to see PG play Carthage (wouldn’t be surprised to see them pull off the upset) oct 4th.

Adam is playing I watched videos of him practicing this week. I am unsure about the source of your information, but he is definitely on the team.

Adam Morse is a great passer. If he had started 3 seasons at PNG he’d hold all the passing records here!

I would have loved seeing Morris to Riggs during their career’s. I tell ya another one I would have loved to have seen Austin Bost to Riggs, they played together their freshman year and it was fun to watch. Austin had a great arm he took one for the team for sure but it all worked out for him in baseball...

Just not seeing him on the roster.

I read that he chose Juco so as to not lose a year. Apparently it’s like a free year of playing (because he would lose a year sitting out going to an FBS school. So after JUCO he can play two years at another school. But has to complete it on two years. If he can graduate in those two years (tough with transferring) he can get one more as a post graduate.

McZeal is in the area with another child on thy way. I was told by another A & M player he didn't fit in Jimbo's scheme of things Could have stayed and set on the sidelines choose to go another direction

I’m always in favor of players playing. There is some value in competing for positions but we all know what role politics (and I include coaching philosophy as politics) can play in shaping someone’s future.
