Based off of some research I believe that PNG should be able to move the ball on their defense

No doubt PNG will score if they don’t implode. The interceptions and fumbles committed against Galena Park will likely be doomsday against a good team. The challenge is on defense as usual. Montgomery is a mirror offensive image of sorts with about 2500 yards rushing and 1900 passing. The Indians are just as potent with 1900 yards rushing and 2500 passing. It comes down to matchups and who will make the one-on-one plays.

Google strikes again. Yes they’ve had some points scored on them. I saw that myself. A few key stops and this is a winnable game.
The defense better than you thought this week. I thought tey played well

Most of Galena Park’s yardage was on 2 plays. Tweak that and bring down the runner and the defense is golden. Hinton stepped up and was a big time playmaker on defense with 2 ints and a fumble recovery for 6. Hoping that trend continues and spreads. Seeing that on film will put some doubt in Montgomery’s minds.

What's the story on Montgomery? QB is the son of the HC. In high school football, that combination can be dangerous. Are the Bears a spread, pro-style, or something else? Shotgun or under center? Balanced? What type of defenses do they run? I read above that PN-G may be able to move the ball on Montgomery. Will it be by ground or through the air? Thanks. Go Indians.

If the defense plays like they did against Galena Park, they definitely can win this game. I was very impressed with the defensive play against GP last week and the sure tackling and gang tackling techniques I saw. Reminded me of the great Indian teams of the past (late 70's). I will be watching as usual. Go Indians, let's make a deep run.

I noticed an enhanced level of aggression by some defensive players. That is a positive trigger for the defense and feeds more emotion and momentum. Other than maybe 2 plays the defense has them locked down. Do that next game and should be another win. This team can surprise some people.

I definitely agree. Sons of coaches are usually great players

I was really impressed with the back up defensive line.

Explain why? I'm an out-of-town alum. Do not get to see the FR and JV teams. Would enjoy hearing about the talent in the pipeline. Would enjoy hearing about some size and talent on the DL. Good stuff. Thanks.
