Explain why? I'm an out-of-town alum. Do not get to see the FR and JV teams. Would enjoy hearing about the talent in the pipeline. Would enjoy hearing about some size and talent on the DL. Good stuff. Thanks.
There is already some juniors on varsity who sub in on the DL. They will be returners next year. IMO from an overall perspective, this current junior class has more talent than the sophomore or freshman classes. Not saying they don’t have some talent, because they do. There is sophomores contributing on Friday nights right now. This is just my opinion. I’m not trying to hurt any rah rahs or Nancy boo hoos feelings. Maybe ‘ol prep or someone else can chime in with a different perspective.

While I am not personally vouching for players from any grade I can agree with Chief 87 that the current 11th graders were super good as underclassmen. In 9th grade I looked up there stats and they were extremely impressive outscoring opponents 485-85. Allowing 8.5 points per game as a defense.

Let's get those JRs on the field and making plays. I'm all for the best kids play regardless of classification. Put the best kids on the field. I vote to play them both ways, if necessary. Put the best 11 kids on the field and let it rip. If someone needs a break or gets injured, next player up. These are 15-18 year old kids. They will not drop dead from playing full speed. Rotate kids on the DL and DBs if necessary. As fans, let's love those kids and support them. GO INDIANS.

They are on the field. Offense has 6 juniors and defense has 5 I believe.

It’s seems that the passing game is running on all cylinders. Crippen’s accuracy and confidence level has improved and receivers are in sync with him. If the offensive line keeps the pressure off of Crippen I think the odds are good to out score them and win this game. But Montgomery’s defense has some very good elements. We’ll see.
