Coach goes over the game with us. He shows the highlights of the game. It is really neat to hear him talk about the game. There is a lot of praise for the players, no criticism.

I've noticed this in the meetings that I've been able to make. Coach Faircloth praises the players at the booster meetings no matter what. As far as he is concerned, anything that goes wrong is on him. Classy guy!!

That was an excellent meeting. Nice turn out and the information coach gives us is quite an education. We need more members. Next week would be an great opportunity for you to join us.

How about alittle recap of last night. I couldn't make it. My wifes father passed away over the weekend and we had a house full of family.

IMO< Coach either reads these boards or he has gotten word of the sideline coaches on here. He started the meeting by saying that he was there to show highlights. He reminded us that we are dealing with kids, not men. And he would take questions, but nothing negative.

The team looked good on Friday, from what I saw. He was pleased with the defense. But he said this week will be a test. 6 of the WOS players are getting offers from D1 schools. He said that WOS will get us ready for district.

Overall, a good meeting.

Next week, we will be back on regular schedule. Mondays at 6:30

Very cool about the D1 scholarships. Hopefully we can get the running game going vs WOS. I don't like that people are making judgments so early in the year. I know coach will have us where we need to be come district.

I just wished we'd get more aggressive on defense. Seems like for the past 3 years we've played the bend, but not break defense. But seems we've broke more than we've bent.

More specifically, 6 of the WO-S defensive players have D-1 scholarship offers. 1 is committed to Baylor, 1 to UTEP, and 1 has an offer to every Southland school. I'm not sure about the other 3.
