Bottom line

We have all voiced our opinions on the "list situation" - and to no avail, but to aggrevate each other. I am just as guilty as the rest of you.

Bottom line is that all of our opinions flying around and bouncing off of each other is not going to produce the list and whether we agree with the board's decision or not - we just have to be patient and wait and see what happens. May the best candidate win!!!! And may the board have the incite to pick the best coach!!!

I completely agree. What we want/don't want is of no consequence. If the candidates read this board we need to be showing a unified community that would make the BEST coach want to come here! We are a great community and a fantastic school and that is what needs to be portrayed. I know we all have ideas of what we want and need, but it is great if we can put all of that aside to show unity and solidarity to everyone outside of the Rez!

At times we might come across as disjointed, ununified fans of PN-G. However, there is one thing that stands out about this board that will attract coaches. What outsiders see on this board is that we are actually a unified, passionate group of indian fans that want our guys to play with the passion that is "PNG football."

Football is KING at PN-G. If a coach wants a challenge with a fan following that is second to no school in the state of Texas, he has found it.

The 'Indian Nation' looks forward to his arrival.

Yes one can definately see the passion for PNG football by all the activity on the board. I know that some of us disagree at times but one things for sure there is something very special about PNG football. We had a tough year last year and all the Indian fans need is a great new coach and a spark to breathe life back into the best fans in the country! :woohoo:

Very well said!! I don't think any of us who post on here regularly have anything but love and respect for this community and its school district. We may not always agree, but we always have purple blood! You don't have to live here all your life to have purple pride--it is hard to define. A PA policeman said "I don't get it--I was in PN yesterday and everyone says its God's country, but I don't see it". My response to him was that "it is a special feeling that has to be experienced and lived, not seen." We are sometimes called "good old boys", but all we want from new residents is for them to experience the joy and turn their blood purple, too. Hope this makes sense to the rest of you. ;D

I could not be more proud of our team and our community. The spirit here is unmatched! I am so lucky to be a part of it and to wear the purple and white! The journey of this football season, with these coaches and our players, will stay with me forever.  -- PN-G Head Coach Jeff Joseph
