Yes Bandkid you are correct. It was a good game and that was a good team and they had a big advantage on us in height! We looked much better tonight although there are areas that I still say need a lot of work. Jayce Nelson had a really solid performance in this game. Congrats Indians you did a good job tonight!

Indians looked much better yesterday! Handled pressure a lot better (actually ran a press break). I also saw some actual COACHING from our sidelines and the screaming was much more limited. We didnt win but overall it was a good strong showing by our kids. I hope the coach can continue to keep emotions in check because the boys perform much better when that happens. I think we have a solid team but haven't been able to get over the hump yet. With a little more work and a few breaks going our way we will get this thing turned around and put ourselves in the mix in 20-4A.

Yesterday ball beat Humble Christian by playing good TEAM basketball! HUmble Christian is a loaded team but they didn't play well as a unit. We will see what happens today.

I am not going to say anything about the game with Brewer even though I really really want to!


I will be at the Championship Game tonight at 8pm between 4A #1 ranked Galveston Ball and 3A #3 ranked Silsbee! This should be a great game of roundball. Silsbee will need to find a way to deal with number 4 from ball or their night will be over before they get started. All of the teams seem to focus on Terran Pettaway #2 for Ball, and he is really good but the problem is #4 is a really strong inside player and he will quietly eat you up!

If you didn't go watch the championship game between Galveston Ball and Silsbee then you missed one of the best basketball games this area has ever seen! Ball won the Tournament with a win over the Tigers 82-80. The Tigers played great but came up short in the closing seconds. DC Stallworth is an amazing player and Prentice Lane can flat out shoot the rock! This game was a nail biter from tip-off to final buzzer and it was like watching a tennis match the transition game was played so fast! Truly an amazing thing to watch!
