Crosby vs Texas High

Anyone watch the Crosby v Texas High game. ? So curious boy was I wrong about that from the eye test. We’re they really that outplayed or were there some disasters in the first half. ? Really curious. Would have bought it but had a piano gig.

Texas High did not play well in the first quarter. Penalties, dropped passes, poor decisions and just rattled with no momentum. Also suffered from a couple of questionable penalties. They had their shots but didn’t execute well on offense. Not their best game I’m sure but that bad first quarter put them in a hole they couldn’t overcome.

For Crosby it was the Dunn and Branch show as usual. Texas High big and fast on defense but those 2 guys made it happen with their legs. Crosby defensive backs played an excellent game.

Good to know. Was disappointed of course I’ve been following them this year. But also shows how good the Indians’ district was too. They lost their first and second string RBs and I believe TE and one WR. part of the game.

I did not see the game, but I watched Crosby v. PN-G online and the Cougars are a good team. Dunn and Branch are talented and Crosby plays good defense. They bend a little, but they make stops...and they are pretty good at taking the ball away...they create turnovers and make good things happen on defense. It would not surprise me to see Crosby v. Nederland for the Region III crown.

I’ll be surprised to see anyone beat Huntsville. But then ... I’ve been wrong before lol
