they really need to put the bus barn on the vacant lot. It is such an eyesore when you drive up to the visitor's side of the stadium

I agree with the bus barn. It's horrible, and I don't understand why that wasn't placed in the bond. I would rather that placed in the lot across the street and rebuilt. That would add more parking or the new indoor complex closer to the school. I've been in the new wing and I'm not real impressed. I thought they could've went with a better design, but thats just me being picky.

Side note, for about 25 million more added to the 20 something million that thier spending on the HS, they could've built a brand new school 2 story on the pracice fields. Then they could've placed baseball, softball, and tennis over by the football stadium, and it would be alot more user friendly. What's done is done though. If the Houston area can build large 5A schools for 75-100 million that hold 3,200 students, I think we could've built a capacity of 1,800 for 40-45 million.

I personally thought the new wing looked great. It's certainly a step-up from what we had, and the technology is state-of-the-art.

I'm looking forward to spending my last year at PN-G learning where everything is like a freshman. ;D

Kind of sad :'( to see this wing being demolished. Seems like it opened in 1970 when I was in 10th. grade. It was the longest walk from Mrs. Smith's class to P.E. and then back for the next class. Lots of honor, pride and tradition in those old walls. May the memories live forever.

I feel the same way. I understand progress, updating, remodeling, changing of the times, etc.... But there is hardly anything left of the old school as I knew it. :(

and you wonder where our tax dollars go.

That was the newest part of the school until this year and its already being torn down. Good luck passing another bond anywhere in the near future.

It was torn down because the foundation cracked and the walls were starting to separate. In some areas, the there was a gap 2" wide (you could literally stick your hand between the walls).

B-Wing is going away. Had McGreevy's Government Class there, among many others.

Wasn't McGreevy the guy that was struck by lightning about 4 times? ;D

 Oh my gosh.... I remember that! Haha, too funny.

I think he also brought some of his birds to school as well. He also was a good checker player, as many students can attest.
