FYI La Porte won their 6A district championship with their win over Angleton. Tough preseason competition with seven (#43 out) new defenders in only their third game of varsity competition together.

Been following Todd Dodge at 5AD2 Region 1 District 4 Lovejoy. Give thanks for his support for Chief Joseph as HC/AD.
Prosper Walnut Grove a new school will win District 4 Region 1 with a likely 9-1 record. Explosive Offense with many D1 players.
Lovejoy is district runner up.
Anna is third place after Winning last year 4AD1 state championship (15-1)
McKinney Emerson (12-3 last year) is the fourth place team. Lost to SOC 24-36 Last year. Emerson 2023 QB Michael Hawkins had 2024 starts for Oklahoma as a freshman QB.

Dallas Melissa is a DCTF anointed top five DFW team every year. They were 21-5 in 2022 and 2023. Will not qualified for a playoff spot. went 10-2 last year and was eliminates by SOC 30-38. Their new stadium and indoor facility is better than many universities. Goggle if you want to see a stadium LED light show.
