Congrats to Dylan Richards on the high jump. I saw his winning jump...quite impressive. And congratulations to ALL the participants for a great event.

I finally got to attend an event in your new facility and man, it IS first class!! Beautiful place. And I also got to chat with Coach Cates again. Great guy...we miss him.

BTW I called the PANews today to report an error in today's issue covering this 20-4A District meet. In the boys' pole vault, Just for the record, Michael Robustelli attends Nederland and not PNG. I should know where my son goes to school!! ;D I told the guy at PAN that Michael will be heartbroken to see PNG next to his name..LOL

He'll only be heartbroken because he knows he doesn't actually get to go here. ;D

Congrats to your son.

Thanks Yankeedawg! For anyone wondering why Dylan's name did not show up in the reporting of the regionals results, I am posting a news article that will explain it. We have been to Regionals and the State meet for the past two years and it really seems strange to not be there this year again. Especially under the circumstances. Congrats to all of the 20-4a athletes who advanced to regionals and again to those who further advanced to the State meet. Enjoy the experience! It's great!
