Just saw on Fox Sport SW former PNG Indian and Marshall Unv. Coach Dwayne Nunez is the offensive cord at CE King. Setting all kinds of offensive records.

His dad Tim coached at Marshall and UT. Tim also coached at PN-G in the mid 70's. I believe Dwayne also coached at Barbers Hill.

Anyone know if Dayton went back with their original QB against Angelton?

Yes Nunez coached about 74,75,76 then he and Davis left to go to A&M as grad. asst.s then Tulane, Texas, etc....

We all loved Davis he was the QB coach. Nunez, last I heard, is back in the area. btw he is kin to Wade Phillips.

I have one memory of Nunez when he coached varsity in 74-- :thumbsdown:

He went to Richeys place in Rockport about 15 years ago for the annual '75 State Champ reunion.
