"Koby Trahan led the PNG offense with 192 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 33 carries. Trahan had eclipsed the 200-yard plateau before losing 15 yards on his last carry when the Indians were attempting to run out the clock."

"Crippen was 10-of-19 through the air for 96 yards with one touchdown and one interception."

"PNG overcame six fumbles, losing two of them, many on bad snaps. The Indians dominated time of possession, holding the ball for 29:45 to Beaumont United’s 18:15. Total yardage saw PNG with 340 yards to Beaumont United’s 247."

Cole Crippen is still growing into the varsity position. But it didn't help that receivers are dropping good passes. The passing offense will get better. In the meantime the running game is incredible.

Man, the bad snaps were drive killers no doubt. It was so obvious that was our weakest point - I know that Faircloth will work to get that corrected, we almost handed the game over to them on that last one.

They can fix the snaps hopefully....receivers need to work on hands drills. While BH and Crosby are 0-2, they had tough matchups and will be ready come district. Hopefully everyone will heal up on the D side. Considering how many were out, I'm really excited about this defense.

Great summary. Defense is stout. Much to be proud of. And really impressive considering the injured starters.

Th offense is suffering growing pains. Crippen is adjusting to the varsity game. He's got the arm but the many bad snaps and resulting pressure created complete havoc. You know that must have affected his confidence level. The offensive line is a big positive. They are huge but young too and will continue to improve. Receivers may be the biggest curve. I'd like to see #10 Guarnere see more opportunities with the ball. Trahan is a beast. The sophomore back #26 looked good too.

Hoping that the additional week of non-district prep and game will help work out the kinks.

Little Faircloth made two great catches last night. How about Bergeron???? That kid needs to get the ball more. Looking back he rarely ever misses the football. Coach Faircloth will get these kinks worked out. He is a great offensive mind.

I really believe that this offense will come together. The biggest concern right now is getting healthy. That is what is worrisome right now. I always thought that when Coach had the right talent to build a good defense he would always be able to build an offense to score enough points to win.

I think BU played with a backup QB? They have some size and speed. Can’t say it enough…the PN-G defense played well. The Indians need to work out the kinks with the snap. PN-G can’t have 25 bad snaps. A strong running game and good defense will give the Indians a chance to win.
Yes, the starting QB went out in the first quarter. We threw the backup into the fire.

Thank you BMT Soulja1. Good to see your name on the message board. Things will come together for BU. A play here or there vs. PN-G and the outcome could have been different. I'm glad PN-G got BU early. Mid- to late season, BU should be a salty team. They have size and playmakers. Once they get a W, they will flip the switch and get on a roll. The back-up QB did a good job for being thrown into the fire. Any chance you can help me convince Arceneaux to go play for Coach Kelvin Sampson at UH? Will he skip men's college BB and go to the G-League? Straight to the NBA? Is is still possible to go directly from high school to the NBA? Or, does the NBA require kids to play in the G-League?
